SOCIA wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built between games — in the conversations after the match, the plans made courtside, the friendships that form when good people find a sport they love. Two mates. A court. An idea that wouldn't go away.

The Obsession
PADEL BUILDS COMMUNITIES. SOCIA WAS BUILT BY ONE.
Two mates picked up a racket whilst away in Portugal and never looked back. Within an hour they were hooked — the game is social by nature. Doubles, fast, chaotic in the best possible way. There's nothing else like it.
Back in the UK, the courts kept getting booked. More people kept getting pulled in. That's what padel does — it doesn't just attract players, it creates scenes. People don't just play. They hang around. They come back. They bring others. SOCIA came from that. Not from a strategy deck. From the culture that forms around the game.

The Gap
Everything Out There Was Wrong.
Padel clothing was either technical match-wear — full of performance logos and neon colours — or completely unrelated to the culture. Nothing existed that felt like it was actually made for the padel lifestyle. The late-night courts, the post-game hangs, the vibe.
We wanted clothes you could step off the court in and walk straight into the city. Something that felt premium, comfortable, and quietly nodded to the culture — without screaming sport at you. That space didn't exist. So we built it.
